What are my options for a facelift?

There is often some confusion around all the different terms used for different facelift techniques and procedures. The medical term for a facelift is a rhytidectomy. Here are the different techniques Dr. Vila can use to perform your facelift in Portland.

Full Facelift

In Dr. Vila’s practice, this refers to a combined face and neck lift. This is a surgical procedure that helps to rejuvenate jowling of the cheeks as well as a turkey neck to a more youthful appearance.

Mini-Facelift

What Will My Recovery Period Be Like?

Most patients' initial recovery takes 10 to 14 days, with some swelling and bruising remaining shortly thereafter. It is very important to wear a gentle dressing that helps keep the skin in the ideal position for the first week as you heal.
